A conversation is one continuous thread with a single contact across any channel — a 6-minute phone call, a 14-message SMS back-and-forth, or an email chain are each one conversation. We don't double-bill if the customer calls and then texts you about the same booking within 24 hours. Internal AI reasoning steps don't count either.
Overages are billed at $0.42/conversation, with email warnings at 80% and 100% of your tier. You can cap them. We've never had a customer get a surprise bill — most months people sit comfortably inside the allowance and we proactively suggest moving down a tier if you're consistently under.
